Glimpses V

Enjoying a low tide

Creating an aquarium

Searching for agates and beach glass.

1Co 2:9-10 KJV - But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

Absorbed in play.

A day at the zoo.

It's much more fun to see a seal
swimming near the dock or up to your kayak.

Rom 8:19-21 ESV - For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God.

Me with my favorite people, the best exhibit!

Never too old for the Carousel.

Have you ever been to Trampoline Nation?
It's a crazy loud place where everyone is jumping off the walls, literally.

Isa 35:4-6 ESV - Say to those who have an anxious heart, "Be strong; fear not! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God. He will come and save you." Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf unstopped; then shall the lame man leap like deer, and the tongue of the mute sing for joy. For waters break forth in the wilderness, and streams in the desert;

Fresh picked blackberries from the back yard.
I'll add a cobbler topping for the kids dessert.

I remember my funny mom every time I pick fresh fruit.
She was visiting our U-Pick farm one summer.

"You're not going to eat it straight from the bush, are you?" she asked me.

"Yes, I am. How else would I eat it?"

"Don't you need to wash it?" Fear in her eyes.

"No, they're organic! Here, try one!" I said. I handed her a small handful of berries.

"Nooo!" She turned away and continued picking.

I laughed. Later, I noticed her baskets weren't as full as they ought to be
and her lips had a pretty berry tinge to them. I miss that lady!
